The Season is: Winter
The autumn was kind and offered a slow adjustment to the colder winter. Unfortunately, still many were taken off guard as the first snow fell. The days are enough to handle, but the nights are becoming frigid as mere days pass by. Many of the smaller prey have gone, but winter hares are slowly making their presence known. It will be too soon when even they become scarce. Many wolves are becoming fierce in their hunts for food and more are refusing to share their spoils. The felines, having kept to themselves and avoided contact with the canines are being forced to hunt on their lands. Conflicts will begin rising and bloodshed may be unavoidable. It is a kinder winter then most this year, but no one ha forgotten the hard winter just passed, and no one wants to be caught un-prepared this time.
