DarkStar stood up, and had her head above the tall grass, and looked around, and saw no one. "You planned this very well, didn't you feline?" DarkStar didn't give her one chance to escape her menacing blue gaze. She snarled intot eh feline's face, and kept an eye out for StormClouds or someone from the pack.

Cougars, although perhaps not the most powerful member in the cat family, had a sort of breeded cunning in having to grow up in such terrain. She hardly cared what this dog said, and in fact, had been here long before the other two had disturbed her. But now she was irked. This dog which was far lower on the evolutionary tree then her, was acting as though she owned everything. As though the mutt was better then everything. Only in her ludacrous fantasies.
Killrith let out a bitter laugh that seemed to dance with the hypnotizing rhythem of fire. "Just because you're as dumb as a pile of lard doesn't mean a cat is, wolf. So watch your tongue," She snapped, "You talk tough, but I think that's all fluff. So quit your little stare-down game, it doesn't work on a superior intellectual being such as myself, mutt." She stared straight back into blue eyes, emerald eyes glinting in pure malice and hatred. She detested dogs. Hated them to an infinitely rdiculous amount.
"C'mon, wolf. Need a friend to beat a cat? You should've realized by now that I don't. Unlike you, I don't need anything at all to beat something--especially a living wretched hag such as yourself."

Moonmirror cursed herself inwardly. Why had she distanced herself from the alphen in the first place? She could detect the cougar's scent now, a foul stench and she ran as fast as she could. Halting suddenly, she prepared herself. If the alphess knew she was there, she could get out of the way so that the shaman could let loose a spell of some kind. Unfortunately, Stormecho was much better at battle spells, and battling in general. Moonmirror was the gentle healer. Throwing back her head, she howled, hoping that the alpha, or her sister, or someone heard.

DarkStar heard the howl, and holwed in return. When she finished howling, she returned her gaze on the cougar. She waited, and hopped that help would come. She didn't want to fight this cougar all by herself, she could serously get hurt or maybe killed, and she didn't want that.

She had been approaching the wolf, eyes glittering with untold malice, when the howl came. She flattened her ears against her skull. Then let out an animalistic snarl as the wolf returned it.
"What's wrong, wolf? Is your kind such hypocrites as to call us fraidy cats yet turn tail at the sign of battle yourself?" She challenged, tail flickering with impatience. She took another step. Killrith knew she could beat this wolf. Maybe it would teach their kind a lesson. There was a sudden bark from the side....
"What the?
MoonMirror was a slow runner. And apparently figured out a shortcut. Or maybe her nose was just too good for her own sake. Either way, Sapphire stood across the clearing from the feline, head down and teeth shining with the same allure as the moon. She didn't want to defend her Alphena, but she wondered vaguely if she could ever muster this cat to trust her and side with her, against BlackStar in case the femme ever annoyed the jewel-eyed vixen. Which, doubtlessly, she would.
"What business do you have in this terra, feline?" She threatened, approaching in perfect wolf-like fashion, head low to the ground, tail raised. A reckless, fearlessness shone as clear as daylight in her sapphire gaze.
"If it's a one-on-one fight you're itching for, gladly pick it with me. Your kind doesn't scare me--in fact" Her grin turned wicked, her features that could normally be beautiful contorted into a crooked, devilry that can only be called demonic. "I'd love a nice rousing fight." Saliva ran through her mouth as she could nearly taste the blood of combat. She glanced to her 'dear' Alphena. "Don't get involved, Milady. Forgive me, but if it is a fight the cat pleases, it is a fight the mongrel shall receive," She turned back to the slinking cougar, "Besides, I think this one needs to be shown that we could beat her--alone or as a pack--any day, anytime, any place. So how 'bout it, cat?"
A devious smirk was on her face, drool making her teeth gleam as though poisonous. It wasn't a bluff, this time. This wolf knew what she was doing--and was d*** good at being deadly.
Now this wolf knew what she was doing. Killrith advanced, ignoring the other weaker wolf. "Very well, wolf." She paused suddenly. This femme seemed vaguely familiar....someone Killrith had already met...but who?
A lightbulb clicked on.
"Tell me, proud wolf. Are you the one of the North called Sapphire the Slayer?" It was all coming back to Killrith now, "Yes, the black she-wolf with cerulean eyes. The one who slaughtered packs at a time--Sapphire. What are you doing here, my fellow warrior, amongst such dirt?" She finished, quite surprised. Sapphire was amazing--a legend. What could Sapphire the Slayer be doing amongst such weak scum?
Had she not been a brilliant actress, she might've twitched in annoyance. How did this cougar know of her past? Still, she kept her face composed and feigned perfectly her surprise as she furrowed her brows.
"I assure you, I know no such wolf, though we might have something in common," She added, as she continued to circle the cat, menacing, shoulder-blades protruding like knives while muscles rippled, "I too love fights, and I shall not be afraid to slay you."

Moonmirror heard the surprised tone in the cat's voice, and glanced sharply at the betess. Saphire hadn't twitched, and she certainly hadn't acted like a killer. The feeling that something bad was going to happen lingered, but she couldn't tell if it was from the cougar or the betess. Where was Stormecho anyway? Why was she taking so long to get here?

DarkStar's eyes were opened in surprise at what the feline said. Sapphire didn't act like a killer, and DarkStar always trusted her. Sapphire didn't twitch at all, and DarkStar beleived that the feline was telling the truth. DarkStar smelled Moonmirror, and looked around for her, and kept an eye out for StormClouds.

The cougar was taken aback slightly. How dare Sapphire--great slayer or not--berate her! Insult her?
"Conceit" She spat, before eyeing the gang of wolves now approaching. Reinforcements, eh? "Only in numbers, however, I see. I don't think you'd be too proud, dear Sapphire, be this a one-on-one fight. Your title is one won proudly--but are you still the same wolf?" She nodded towards DarkStar, "Or has this pack weakened you into nothing of worthiness?"
The charred femme glared at the feline with all malice. This cat was beginning to irk her.
"I do not fear you, cat, though you must be delusional to believe you've met me before." She glanced momentarily as a new scent came into the air. MoonMirror? Oh, even better, She thought sarcastically.
"However, my comrades know I am quite able to battle as all wolves are. I am proud of my pack. We are strong--and could easily defeat a delirious cat such as yourself." Her voice was sincere, even though plagued with lies. The ebony she-wolf took an advancing step, head-low, sapphire eyes transfixed on the cougar's slender, sand-colored neck. "Try me." She dared, advancing slowly...as though gliding over the ground.
Here, kitty, kitty. You had your chance--and to think I like you. Ah well. Now it's time to play.

Moonmirror watched them, confused. Saphire still vehemently arguing about being a killer. Maybe the lingering doubts she had about the Betess were baseless... There was no time to watch the fight either, being preoccupied by Stormecho's absence. If only it was a full moon... ((Gack, crappy posts because I'm rushing >.>))

DarkStar stayed to watch the fight, and wondered why StormClouds wasn't here. DarkStar was confused, at how at how it started a game of tag, then almost being killed. It was a good thing that Sapphire was near.

((OOC: if yea would like me to take her out thats fine and if i'm missing steps i need to take just inform my and i will take those nessary steps))
A black face fae wonder though the woods looking for food. She tipped her nose to the air as she caught a whiff of a feline. Hackles raised as the awful stench filled her nose she turned to go the other way as she heard a calling howl. “Dan get” she said under her breath as she speeded in the direction of the awful smell.
As she got closer she could smell the scent of a wolf, on three wolves. Skyward slowed her pace as she neared knowing that there probably was enough to take down this feline. Her body slinked though the forest like a snake on silent paws. She came upon the scene of a feline facing of a black fae Sky caught the end.
Try me…………
She saw the fae advance on the feline Sky decided this was the time to show her self and her trustworthiness. She might want to join this pack and this was the perfect opportunity to show her helpfulness to this pack. White daggers shown as she made her way out of the shadow hackles raised and staring down the feline.
She took a quick glance to she the others reaction to her presence. ‘Hopefully I’m not helping bounty hunters’ she said to herself. She did not advance on the feline it was the black faes battle and she was not about to intervene that.
