In the Clan's forest, there are strange happenings. StormClan and their odd leader, a leader better suited to the life of a rogue than a Clan leader, have moved in. The Clan is structured of seven cats, each from the genes of Singedstar. But he vies for another role. The weird disappearances of kits and apprentices are caused by him. He wants to expand his Clan and his territory. Cats are already begining to wonder if it's him.
But when Singedstar and MistClan's Medicine Cat, Angelleaf, recieve a prophecy, they believe that this is the reason that Singedstar has been driven to the extinction of the other Clans. But two cats, Lilythorn and Chasmfang, may change that desitiny forever.
As the four journey into deep unknown, emotional changes differ from those at home. Lilythorn and Chasmfang split up from the group. Angelleaf and Singedstar quarrel. Could this be harder than they thought?
Lilythorn and Chasmfang break up. They travel apart from each other. When will they realize that they need each other more than they've ever known?
