Name
Persephone, or Persey
Breed
Timber Wolf
Age
4
Gender
Female
Description
Persey is very fluffy, with brown and black tones mixed into her pelt. She has these markings on her backside, the back of her head, ears, and finally a mask of gray tipped fur over her eyes. She has a thick tail, and large, muscular legs, giving her a proportioned look.
Personality
Persephone is just as the Greek Goddess. Like any other wolf, she has feelings, and natural moods. Some things such as the wind on her face, the smell of young caribou, and pebbles beneath her feet give her a peace of mind. Whereas annoying predetors, bad weather, and loss of food tend to tick her off. She changes her mind easily, and sometimes must change her surroundings in order to feel at home.
History
Persephone was used to living in the mountains with another pack. Her pack was not as close-knitted as she liked, and therefore decided to leave when she was just over a year old. Her mother and father did not care for their pups, and this gave Persey a sense of mistreatment, and abandonment. So, in search of a new pack, with close connections, Persephone set out on her adventure, wandering down the vast mountain woods, hoping to find a family.
Sample Post
When Persephone left the her mountain home, the woods gave her much fear. She had rarely been outside of her home without being accompanied by her brothers of sisters. Although she winced when she thought of leaving them, she knew turning back would be for the worst. They either would not let her in the boundaries of their forts, or they would capture her, and kill her.
So off she walked, heading south of her clearing. After entering the woods, she noticed that there were many creatures around her. Not all could be seen, but they could definitely be smelt. Her nose tingled, and as she followed her instinct, her nostrils soon led her to a fallen and rotting tree. Closing her eyes, she sucked in the natural air once more. The log smelt... Interesting. She she lowered her head to the ground, her nostrils did more work, trying to figure out what she had caught. The smell settled for a moment, and in that moment Persephone opened her eyes, and found, to her surprise, a beetle resting on her nose.
You have got to be kidding... She thought. Looking at the beetle with her glossy brown eyes, the bug seemed to give her a polite hello. Blinking, and a smile forming on her face, Persey raised her head, and gave the beetle a new path; off her nose, and onto the fallen tree. Good luck, little one.
