Laurenana felt a small tap on her shoulder before getting a mouthful of dust as Acteon sped off away from her.
Oh you wanna play rough? She called, bolting after him. Stuff tag, she wanted to brawl. She hadn't had a fun fight in ages and Acteon was such an open target.
Her tail waved over her back as she ran towards the brute, his tail also held high. Her mouth parted and her tongue rolled freely in the breeze as she ran through the long grass and rabbits scattered in her wake.
She ran harder and was a couple of meters away. She giggled and pounced, her body arching gracefully through the air, her golden eyes set firmly upon Acteon, her mind was naturally admiring him and her inner child was giggling as she began to fall, hopefully onto the larger male, staring a full blown play fight.

Acteon glanced back just in time to see Laure arching gracefully toward him. He wouldn't have had enough time to move even if he had wanted to. She knocked him clean from his feet, and he found himself thinking of her ability to hunt. He hadn't expected such grace and capability to come from her, but she was more then strong enough to take care of herself.
He grinned playfully at the sudden change in games, though he was still reluctant to fight her, even if it was just playing. He squirmed to his feet and took on a defensive stance, trying to get into the spirit and not wishing to spoil the fun. A play fight could be fun, though he wasn't sure at all if he could play rough. He grinned at Laurenana's playfulness none the less.

Laurenana let Acteon up. She could tell by the look on his face, he wasn't entirely happy with her game of choice. Her tail flicked with thought. Maybe she should flirt with him, seeing her mind couldn't force the idea of how handsome he was out of her head.
Stepping forward towards the defensive male she play bowed, shaking her tail in the air, before running towards him. When she reached him she reached out to lick him across the face, gently and a little playfully. She held her tail high in the air, in a playful but slightly dominate gesture.
He was fun to flirt with, and he was impressive. A mate? Laurenana was a little cautious for that.

Acteon was a little startled at the sudden change in atmosphere. Even more so at her flirting gesture, and again as she bounded toward him. He braced himself, but found himself blushing, although mostly unnoticed behind his dark chocolate hued fur, when she licked him instead of tackling him. He hadn't expected anything short of a play fight .
He grinned boyishly, his stance changing unconsciously to reflect his playful mood once again. He raised his head and his tail automatically, wondering at the pools of gold that stood so distinctly out from her dark fur. He hated to think anyone so cruel as to maim lovely features; but jealousy often produced such scares, visible or not.
Acteon returned the lick, gently so as not to displace the fur on Laurenana's face, least he leave another scar to haunt her memories.

Laurenana smiled shyly as Acteon licked her face. He was so gentle for a wolf of his size and so caring. A small blush moved over Laurenana's face, her golden eyes looked at the ground.
"He could be my alpha any day" She thought, her tail flicking gently as a cool breeze ran over the field. Even though she had only known this brute for a short amount of time, she trusted him. He made her past disappear and treated her like she was, for who she was. Her smile broadened.
OOC: gah! Lack of muse!

Acteon half smiled. He wasn't sure what he should do, or if he should do anything at all. Perhaps he should say something, instead of standing there looking dumb? But what? He was sure a compliment would be a bit too cheesy. He did appreciate her company, and as much as he tried to keep his memories back he couldn't help but be reminded with every new moment.
Acteon knew he would have trouble sleeping for the next few days, or even longer, but he couldn't bring himself to leave the fae. He knew she enjoyed his company as well, and he couldn't take that away from her. He forced a smile, deciding that a good thing to do would be to talk, or maybe go somewhere.
'Is there anywhere you want to go?' he asked, his voice cheery despite his gloomy thoughts.

Laurenana laughed playfully. A certain spot did come to mind, though it wasn't nearby.
"Do you have any really large grassy hills near here?" She asked, her mind firmly set on rolling down one. "Cause they are pretty cool, ya know." Her tail flicked playfully.
Her mind gallivanted away, back to her pup life and rolling down the Alsere, a large grassy hill. She remembered Shala, who back then was a young pup, rolling down the hill, turning from a pristine white pup to a green one and how Christoph would be the only one not to laugh at her. Fond memories, but all were shattered when they had turned on her.
Despite the sadness of those memories, Laurenana disparate wanted to relive them, for they joy in them, not the sadness. She hoped Acteon knew of a place like Alsere.

Acteon grinned at the idea. Grassy hills, he knew there to be some, surely? But why would the idea come to mind? Mysterious as Laure's intentions were he pondered his memories anyway. He knew this place to be relatively flat, for a long ways. Nothing that could be described as hill. He frowned slightly. The only place he knew to be such was in pack lands.
'Why hills?' he asked instead, with a grin. He could come up with a few reasons, but her reason was beyond him. He couldn't think of a place now, and he didn't want to disappoint her. Perhaps if he thought on it a little longer. Surely, there had to be something that was clear of pakc lands.

Laurenana giggled at Acteon's question.
"Have you never rolled down a hill?" She asked softly, her golden eagle eyes sparkling. Her whole body language had changed since they had first met. Gone was the silent, shy wolf. In its place stood a confident wolf, quiet still, but more proud to be alive.
Tilting her head sideways, she watched Acteon. She had the feeling the nearest hill was going to be dangerous to get to, and to stay at. Sitting down she sat patiently, flicking her tail along the ground.

'Is it that fun?' Acteon asked, starting to wonder if perhaps it may be worth it to travel to a pack lands. He wasn't sure how much they had grown, or if they had fled the land, as he hadn't been there in such a long time, but he was sure it would be dangerous to find out.
'I don't know of any hills' he said, pausing slightly to quickly double check his memory, just to be sure, 'Outside of pack lands anyway'. He couldn't remember the feeling of rolling down a hill, but he knew he would've when he was little, between play fighting. He did remember a lot of fighting, he was not even sure he had had any sisters. But, he didn't remember much of the past, and he certainly didn't want to.
'If you're still set on hills, I can take you' Acteon offered. He still wanted her to have fun, and, depending on the alpha, it may not be a death sentence. He was sure they would be able to get away in any case.

Laurenana felt lifted with pride for Acteon. He wanted her to enjoy herself and he would risk everything for it. She felt her heart flutter excitedly. She never felt this way about a male. But she had vowed to never have a mate, for males were treacherous and deceitful. Still, her heart wished for her to break that promise, but her mind said no.
"I appreciate your kind offer" She said softly. "But it is much of a risk" She sighed, her golden eyes looking mournfully at the sky, thinking of Alsere. "I never enjoyed out running a pack."
Her tail wagged softly. If only they could get permission off the pack alpha to roll down their hill. If only...

Acteon grinned. Partially at the appreciation, as thanks, and partially at what Laure had made seem irony. He had gathered from her outburst when he had questioned her that it hadn't been a plesant experience to outrun the fate her pack had placed on her. He was a little disappointed he couldn't deliver for her, but she did have a point.
'It is a bit of a risk, isn't it?' he asked, more to himself, a rhetorical question. He knew it was okay to approach a pack land if you wished to join, but even that had risks in it. Unless of course you were invited in or welcomed in before. Waltzing in could produce a lot of nasty events.
'Sorry' he said, resting his haunches on the ground, taking a seat for a moment now that his exhilaration had worn off a bit.

Laurenana yawned. It was getting late in the day, her golden eyes glaned at the sun, which was sinking low in the sky.
"It is getting late Acteon. Perhaps we have loitered here to long."
She didn't want to sound lke she wanted to get rid of him. Quite the opposite actually. She wished for him to stay, just that they move on to more sheltered areas. Her tail moved lazily across the grass. Her eyelids felt heavy. She hadn't slept for ages and it was catching up to her.

Acteon glanced around himself, noticing that Laure was right; it was getting late. He hadn't noticed, let alone being paying attention. He felt foolish for being so ignorant and being so caught up. In a way he knew it was good that Laurenana could distract him so, it kept his memories at bay, even though it took his attention away from many other things as well.
'You're right' Acteon said after a momentary pause in thought. He wondered if by we she meant she wished him to stay with her, or if she meant they had both better be on their own ways. She was certainly looking pretty run-down, and he was sure all the playful running about and playing hadn't helped. Perhaps he should've politely declined and suggested rest instead.
'I know of a safe place you can rest for the night' He said with a smile. He was sure if Laure wanted him to stay with her she would decide when they reached the place. He started to his left, across back the way they had come. It wasn't far into the forests, and he knew it to be warm and well hidden.

Laurenana's ears perked up at the suggestion of her to stay the night with him. The cold wind ruffled her fur. Shaking herself she trotted up next to Acteon. Weaving through the woods, Laurenana's tail wagged excitedly. Acteon was a good friend, soft and gentle. Funny though, he never mentioned what his past was like.
Laurenana rolled the past events over in her mind. Nope, he definitely hadn't said anything about his past. Then again, neither had she. She had said that she was driven out. She shook her head, rattling the memories away. Keeping up with Acteon, she cast that thought aside till later. She was too tired to think about the past.
